Sales Executive – Specialist Transportation Services
My client is a leading specialist transportation service, who predominantly sell to the construction, energy and infrastructure sectors. Due to continued growth across the business, they are looking to recruit a Sales Executive who will be responsible for identifying and growing major business opportunities across The U.K.
- Managing and developing a number of the companies key accounts
- Identifying all new business opportunities across The U.K.
- Following up on sales leads via telephone, email or post
- Pitching to key decision makers, listening and evaluating the customers’ expectations and converting these into long term sales opportunities
- Preparing and submitting tenders/ quotations for transport movements
- Liaising with other departments including operations and driving staff to ensure they have a clear understanding of the customers’ requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven track record in Business Development, with successful wins and achievements
- Experience within Transportation/ Logistics/ Construction would be beneficial
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive and proactive outlook
- Always on the lookout for new business and opportunities
- Highly motivated, with the determination to succeed
